SMS Policy

1001060885 Ontario Inc. (trading as ArxeTech) provides software and web services to trade businesses and small businesses across Canada. As part of our service delivery, we may send SMS text messages to clients and contacts who have opted in to receive them.

This SMS Policy explains how we use SMS messaging, what types of messages you may receive, and how to manage your messaging preferences.

Who Sends These Messages

SMS messages are sent by 1001060885 Ontario Inc., operating as ArxeTech, using a registered business phone number. We use Twilio as our SMS delivery provider.

ArxeTech also operates Obwix — a SaaS field service management platform for tradespeople and service businesses available at obwix.com. Platform-level SMS messages (such as two-factor authentication codes and account notifications) sent to Obwix account holders originate from the same registered sender and are covered by this policy.

We are registered as an A2P (Application-to-Person) messaging sender and operate in compliance with CTIA guidelines and Canadian anti-spam and telecommunications regulations.

Types of Messages We Send

ArxeTech sends only transactional and service-related SMS messages. These may include:

• Project updates — milestone completions, build progress, or delivery notifications.
• Appointment & meeting reminders — kickoff calls, review sessions, or scheduled check-ins.
• Account alerts & 2FA — two-factor authentication (one-time passcodes) during login or sensitive account actions, security notices, or billing reminders.
• Support responses — replies to support requests or inquiries submitted through your account.
• Service notifications — hosting maintenance windows, service status updates, or renewal reminders.

We do not send promotional SMS blasts or unsolicited marketing messages.

How You Opt In

You may receive SMS messages from ArxeTech if you:

• Provided your phone number when submitting a project proposal or consultation request and consented to receive updates.
• Created a customer account (ArxeTech or Obwix) and provided your phone number during registration — by doing so you consent to receive account security messages including 2FA codes and platform notifications.
• Explicitly requested SMS communication in writing (including via email or contact form).

We do not add phone numbers to SMS communications without your consent.

Note — Obwix subscriber SMS: If you are an Obwix subscriber and have purchased a dedicated phone number through the Obwix platform, your customers may receive SMS from your number via Twilio. That is a separate sender governed by your own customer consent practices. See obwix.com/terms for details.

How to Stop Receiving Messages

You can also opt out by:

• Emailing info@arxetech.com and requesting removal from SMS communications.
• Updating your notification preferences in your customer portal account settings.

After opting out, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. Note that opting out of SMS does not affect email or other service communications.

Getting Help

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies. During an active project, you may receive occasional notifications related to project milestones, meeting reminders, or account activity. Outside of active projects, messages are infrequent and only sent when relevant to your account or service.

We aim to keep communications minimal and relevant. We will never send unnecessary or repetitive messages.

Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. ArxeTech does not charge for SMS messages we send, but your mobile carrier may charge for receiving SMS messages depending on your plan. Please check with your carrier if you are unsure.

Your Phone Number & Privacy

Your phone number is collected solely for the purpose of delivering the service communications described in this policy. We do not:

• Sell, rent, or share your phone number with third parties for their marketing purposes.
• Use your phone number for any purpose beyond the communications described above.

SMS messages are delivered through Twilio, our SMS platform provider. Twilio processes message data as our sub-processor and is bound by data protection agreements. For more details, see the ArxeTech Privacy Policy.

Supported Carriers

SMS messaging is available to most major Canadian and US wireless carriers. Carrier availability depends on Twilio's network reach. ArxeTech is not responsible for delivery failures caused by carrier restrictions or network issues outside our control.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
